Purdue -7.5 over CMU--This line has dropped from the nine point opener but I don't see it going any lower. Purdue dominated the first game even with 5 turnovers. CMU doesn't have the defense to stay within a TD.

BG...yes even though, the Boilers posted a 20+ win over the Chips earlier this year...alot has happen since. Purdue has dropped 5of their last seven including their last to IU. While CMU took a beating from a couple of other BCS teams (ie Kansas and Clemson). I see the motivation and interest to play clearly on the side of Central. I really believe that Purdue could care less about playing in Motown, while Central is fired up, defending their MAC title and playing 45 minutes from home...the crowd will be on their side and revenge is definately a factor for them. I have alwasy liked Tiller as a HC but it seems he lacks the ability to motivate his squads for situations like this...a meaningless bowl...day after Xmas...against a team they already thumped...I think that is why the spread has moved down and agree I don't see going below 7'...and I think the total may be a bit decieving, if Purdue has no interest. Just my opinion...always have respected yours and your valuable input...Happy holidays and GL.

Thanks for the input. While I somewhat agree that CMU may be more fired up for this one, I think Purdue can cover the points by accident. They have too many more athletes and CMU's defense is so bad. I'm keeping an eye on the slowly dropping total also. There may be some value there soon.

Sparty +5 over BC--I think the Spartans will put together a pretty good effort in this one. They should be able to run the ball enough to give Hoyer an opportunity to throw. It is usually stupid to play Sparty after about week 7 but Dantonio has held this team together a bit better than his idiot predecessors.
