Rutgers won big and after being down 21-7 came back with 48 straight points and even covered my halftime -8 play....

way to many games this week

Ohio +5.5 over Pitt **

Mich -22.5 over Army **
Armys OL line couldn't push Rices def line the entire game...they had Army's wishbones in check...didn't realize Army's FB Slomka didn't play but don't think that mattered...although Armys defense played well with 8 new guys their offense was the problem...if Army couldn't push the Rice DL back what are they going to do vs Michigan..these guys will be much tougher to push back...Armys OL was over powered the entire game...it was 7-7 late in the 4th qrt before Army scored and made it 14-7..Mich had a tough game vs Mid Tenn winning 40-25 with a late garbage td...but Mich has its spread offense and with Patterson at qb should give Army big time problems... I see Army being behind the entire game and trying to climb back need to pass more...not a big play because think Army is better then last week but they are not sneaking up on anybody anymore like last yrs Oklahoma game..think Mich gets out in front and Army has to play from behind and abandons the wishbone early..

Iowa -19.5 over Rutgers **
RU blew UMass away and Pacheco had 4 td's and over 150 yds ..I predicted the Rutgers rb's would dominate RU defense had some holes vs a weak UMass offense.. Iowa has one of the best qb's in the B-10 in Stanley and has one of the best OL's...Stanley will have all the time to pass because Rutgers couldn't get to UMass with a weak OL...they have Sargent a solid rb and there wr's should be open all day...Carter threw 3 ints in his debut as RU's qb but think RU's OL will have trouble vs Iowa's DL Carter is mobile but will be pushed out of the pocket...If Iowa takes away Pacheco and Blackshear the running game and makes RU pass its going to be a long day... but I love Pacheco...you put this kid on a Wisky Ol and he is one of the best in the country...

Texas AM +17.5 over Clemson **
Mond keeps them close..they handled Clemson last yr and think Clemson wins at home but Aggies put a scare in them...

Wyoming -7 over Tex St ****
Cowboys upset Mizzou and Bobcats got blown out by TexAm...Cowboys have most of there OL back and have a Qb Chambers who rushed for over 120 yds. he started the last 4 games last yr and won them all...they got out played by Mizzou and out gained in almost every category except the score 37-31. Tx St had big time problems with Tex Am .. Jensen won the qb job over Vitt in the fall..but early on in the TAM game he was benched for Vitt.. Vitt threw a few ints so the qb situation is a big ? mark...they have 19 starters back from last yrs 3-9 team..but new innovative Coach Spavital will have them improve...just to early I think...the problem is Wyoming is coming to San Marcus with " big" heads" Just don't think Bobcats have enough offense yet.. and chasing Chambers all day .

North Texas +4 over Smoo **
under 72**
NT has one of the best qb's in the country in Fine.....they have some solid rb's and wr's back from last yr...their problem is defense.. Smoo almost lost to Ark St last week but survived.. Last yr Smoo was -4 over North Texas

and got spanked by Fine and co 43-23..last 4 games these guys have played the totals have been 69,86,55 and 44.. This is considered a rival game for North Texas..but it takes 2 for a rival...Smoo doesn't see it that way...but NT hates the Mustangs dating back to the Southwest conf days..Smoo would never allow North Texas into the conference due to how close the schools are...think the mean Green and Fine win a 35-27 game way under the the 72..

LSU -4 over Texas ****
Back later to explain..line has now moved to -6..
Central Fl -10.5 over FAU ***
Nites win big
Fresno +3 over **

Box, did you factor in the significant upgrade at QB for SMU? Buechele, the Texas transfer, is now the starting QB. 2 years ago at SMU, it was a 22 pt. victory for SMU in a high scoring affair. Good luck and see you in Austin in a few weeks, Dog lover
P.S. Did you sell your New York house?

Early this morning drove up to Resorts here in NY and made my plays..its one of 4 casino's in NY that has sports betting... its 21 miles from my house....but thank god once I sell my house here in NY Texas doesn't have casino's to bet on sports... I cashed in some big tickets from last week from Rutgers alone..also have in Philly another huge winning Rutgers ticket...but after making all my plays today almost 3/4 of the Rutgers winnings went back into tomorrows plays...really stupid on my part with money management ....no discipline at all...I have the " candy store " mentality where everything in the window looks good...I have in that hoops but never in football...you would think at my age I would know better...anyway these wee the lines I played today..other then getting LSU -4 early most have changed for the better or worse...

Texas Am +17.5 over Clemson ***
TAM is so quick and athletic..think they won't be intimated esp after last yrs game... Monds is a solid qb and think the Aggies can stay with the Tigers..

UCF -10 over FAU ****
Both schools don't like each other..with Wimbush at qb he really looked good last week despite playing Fl AM. But they have a solid Oline and theri defense is outstanding... don't think FAU will be able to move the ball .. they had only 22 yds rushing vs Ohio St But again thats vs a top team..in last +30 games they have scored over 30 pts..with 8 starters back on offense this should continue..Wimbush takes over for Milton ...last yr they beat FAU 56-36 and they had one of the top rb's in the country in Singletary who is playing on Sundays now..think Nite defense will win the battle on the line and control the line of scrimmage ...on both ends..think Nite win this bt at least 2 td's..

Iowa -20 over Rutgers ***

Last night my daughter and grandson from Philly surprised us...so won't be able to break down any plays unless its late games

Wyoming -7 over Tx St ****
LSU -5 over Texas ****
North Texas +4 over Smoo **
Under 69.5 **

Fresno +3 over **
Hawaii -5.5 ***
Michigan -22 over Army **
Small play because think Nites are better then they played last week vs Rice...but Harbough has been preparing for Army all fall..With so many new defense players on Army think they have a problem stopping Patterson at qb and the super frosh Charbonnet who out gained the entire Mid Tenn team last week ...also who stops Black at Wr..so much speed ..Harbough said " we have been preparing for the wish since spring practice almost every day.."again Army will have to play catch up if they fall a few td's behind..gotta run back later
