Neb -14 Just have to go back to last year to bet this game; SM looked like a high school team; Neb defense could post a shutout in this game; Neb wins in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Should win this game by around 28

Utah -13 AZ still has a long way to go and Utah with its spread offense should give AZ problems al day long.

Texas a&m -11 On homefield adv alone a&m wins this game by 2 td's; bramletts 1st rd start; i think a&m alot better than they show but still need alot of work but are more talented either way on both sides of the ball

Bama -10; bama made a believer of me and although not a big believer in revenge this is a good spot for them should win this game by 18-21

Cal -33 this could get ugly; nms just got taken to the woodshed by a ark team that returns one starter and they hung 62 on them; what is cal going to do; cal wins this game by 8 td's

OU -35 went against ou last week as i thought people underestimate how good bg is; if it werent for TO's OU would have covered but they now face a team with NO OFFENSE; so i expect 0 points from Houston so basically you ask yourself does ou score 40 or more; my answer is yes prob 50

looking at a few other games
one game in the nfl i am looking at is Tenn over fins

Southern Miss-Nebraska.......anyone else have a take on this game? Personally, I am looking hard at Southern Miss +14.5. The Southern Miss defense is a lot different than I-AA Western Illinois and NU threw 4 picks, vs Western if I am not mistaken.

The Southern Miss team that NU saw last year was a lot different then the team that finished 8-0 in C-USA play (not counting the bowl game vs Utah).

I think Southern Miss can hang with the Huskers b/c their offense is going to make mistakes and Southern Miss has that opportunistic type defense......

that defense you are talking about only returns 4 starters and if you remember last year at Souther Miss with their entire defense they got run all over; I agree if daily puts up the ball alot that he will throw some pick but Neb defense will completely stuff SM; just like they did to OSU (a very prolific offense)last year their 1st home game; Neb is just too talented in the trenches in this game and this is not the same SM team and defense from years before; like I said last week when i picked Ok state over UCLA; the off and def line is where his game will be won and its a complete mismatch but good luck on your play.

bbk - just looking at it right now, no play yet; however, if we look back over the past 4-5 years, Southern Miss is ALWAYS a well coached defensive football team. You raise some good points none the less.

The one thing that I don't like is this is Southern Miss's first game. We'll see I guess. I just don't see the new NU offense beating up this D by more than 17.

We'll see. Good luck as well.

Also looking at
Oregon St. +8
Ga Tech +7
Toledo +3
WVU -20

I like the WV play; looks to solid
Still on fence about OState; on paper they may win this game but its hard to bet against boise on the blue field; this is not the same boise offense but at home they are tough to beat.
Have not really looked at either Tech or Tol
Good Luck on your plays
