baltimore could not score against a average d last week now they face a good one- also tb figured out ther offence in the second half last week. they will score 20-24 points and i do not see baltimore scoring 10. this baltimore team is bad and there d is not good enough to carry them anymore.

the defense was not pressed last week by a conservative carolina game plan....but their defensive backfield is rookie-laden..add to that brad hoover and nick goings averaged over 5 yards per carry last week(the pony express they are not)...this is an utter mismatch....and i am a raven fan living right outside baltimore....tampa has st louis up next and 0-3 staring them in the face with a loss here....i jumped on this at minus 3...the public can`t get off billick and the defense...THIS IS A DIFFERENT TEAM!

I think you are on the right track with the KC over play. The Chiefs offense is very strong, but the defense is horrible. A decent showing by Jax will make this a good play. GL.

vermiel is building one hell of a team they remind me of the rams the year before they went to the sb. they will score on anybody but are very weak in there secondary. they also do not use alot of clock before they score giving the jax plenty of chances to score. i see a 28-24 type of game.

another note on baltimore- redmond moved the ball when not blitzed but every time when pressured key third downs and in the fouth quarter he folded completly it will be much worse this week monty's d is all about pressure and disguising defenses something thats will amplify this kids weaknesses happy feet and not finding open recievers. i think time of posession will be a huge factor along with field position- baltimore will have alot of 3 and outs and fall behind and will have to rely on the pass and this will spell disaster for the ravens. there is a talent disparity here at all the skill positions. jmo

two bad teams facing each other here with 3 big advantages for carolina 1. there home 2. better defense 3. much better coaching-these guys for detroit have no idea how to game plan or utilize the talent they do have. detoit allows miami to score 50 and they could have scored 70. and that is with the staff having a month to prepare. detroit did not tackle well and were always out of position. and on o they blocked like women peppers and co will have a field day- fox loves to bring the heat- and detroit will be well done.

Have the same feeling in the TB/Balt game. Fans are looking at the Reavens of the past and do not see the gutted team that is on the field thanks to the salary cap. Gruden should have his boys ready to play and that will not be good news for the Ravens.

Car/Det .... I agree with Carolina -3. Detroit looks like they could be in for a long season. Carolina's defense could very well cover this #.

Good luck on your plays today thunder. You are reading my mind on that KC score and the TB play. Gruden will be prepared today.

Good luck

we are of like minds tonight. the way i see it, playing the skins and the under presents a good betting opportunity that minimizes risk. by my calculation, the eagles would have to score more than 24 points to cover and push the total over. i consider that scenario much less likely to occur than the skins covering in a game under the total, thus the favorable opportunity. good luck to us both tonight.
