Like both Kentucky teams this week...GL Cruncher....
I hope they come through ejthree; I'm sure Florida was playing a little possum last week; Kentucky is a desperate team though; don't know if it will mean anything or not but they need to at least make a good showing or it could be a long year for them. WKY may be the 2nd best team in the state.
WKY has some offense and with Ole Miss on the hill should be competitive ....As far as Fla game i was shocked to see vegas hang 16 on that game....
WKY has been a really good story last few years, and they don't seem to be letting up any time soon. I didn't see the Alabama/USC game so don't really know how dominate Alabama was, but it must have been pretty dominant, but we won't really know until USC and them have played a few more games. I'm guessing that frosh dual-threat for the Tide may make them really hard to defend; at least that's what their RS freshman RB D. Harris said when speaking about Hurts. That's all they need is a really good dual-threat, they are good enough as it is.
I expected the Florida line to open about 13.0 so was a little surprised when I think it opened about 15.5/16ish. Even though Kentucky has played Florida real close last 2 years; the way Ky was toasted by So Miss in 2nd half, and the fact Florida is a name brand and Ky isn't, probably pushed the opening number higher. Kentucky is better is some respects, but has problems in other areas, specifically defensive front seven, but they should get better as year rolls on. Kentucky has a dual-threat JC QB transfer that's pretty swift and I think they will need to play him some to help with the running game; something they didn't do in the last half of So Miss game and griped my a$$ something terrible. One last thing, So Miss is a darn good football team and their QB can sling it with anyone; that may be being overlooked right now this early in the year.
