Hey everyone - looking to rebound after an extremely poor week last week. Went 3-6 in NFL, 1-0 in CFB, and normally don't play that many NFL games in one week, but I truely believed there were some inflated spreads with a lot of double digit dogs. Only one that covered was KC. Favorites were king last weekend - will this trend continue?
Here are my early plays for NFL Week 3 - I will update this thread if i play anything else throughout the day - but I really like these 3 dogs:
Jets +6 Risk $1,100 to win $1,000
Buffalo shouldn't be laying 6 to anyone. Jets have been able to put up some points, Pennington looks ok in this young season hooking up w/ Coles & Cotchery. I still feel these are the 2 weakest teams in the AFC East (even though Miami is trying hard to look like the worst) and I like the 6 in this division rival game. I see this game coming down to a FG one way or another. Be real surprised if this is a blowout. Taking the 6.
Jax +7 Risk $1,100 to win $1,000
I was so frustrated I wanted to play Jax +3 last MNF game and forgot game now starts at 7:30, didn't get home until 7:55, so couldn't play it - but did nail the 2nd half under. I love this Jax team and can't understand why people keep failing to realize how good this team is. I'll take the 7 in a game they are capable of winning outright. I think Jax will move the ball on the Indy D and manning may be flustered by this defense. Take the 7 in this division rivalry - huge game for both teams - i like it to stay close.

Yes I am extremely disappointed in this GB team (season ticket holder) but give me one reason Detroit should be laying 7 in this one. I mean Detroits offense has shown nothing in 2 games. I know the history and know the ATS history favors Detroit in Detroit. Favre has not played his best ball there, but i think GB goes into Detroit and gets the win. I expect another close game here and took the 7.
Good luck, hope I can get the season turned around. I never panic - it's a long season and i'm confident i'll turn a profit for the 7th straight year.
