The Cleveland Browns have not really been quite as bad as their record indicates. They have been keeping up with or even exceeding their opposition in yardage and have had their chances. The problem with them is that there are 4-5 plays in just about every football game that decide the outcome and in these make or break opportunities the Browns have been woefully deficient. Kizer, who has a lot of upside, isn't ready for prime time just yet. He hasn't adjusted to the speed of NFL defense and has held the ball way to long resulting in big sacks and many holding calls. When he has the time he makes 2-3 awful throws to a horrible group of receivers that can't get open. This frequently result in picks.
I see none of that changing today with Marvin coaching for his NFL life and many of his players playing under the threat of benching.

Cheap shot artist Vontaze Burfict is back and if Kizer has no fear, he should have. The Bengals are going to apply lots of heat to the rookie QB and in the end the Browns will make enough poor plays to lose another game to a bad team.
