Hey everyone - came back a little last week going 3W-2L-1P...
Ok i have to say I don't like a whole lot of the games this week after spending some time looking at the lines..I've come away with one game I like and as of right now will be my only play for Sunday...
I locked into the Saints catching 7.5 points...this is my play of the week...I think many are looking for the MNF letdown factor - I disagree strongly - last week you saw the value of underdogs in tight division matchups...you have a 3-0 ballclub playing with a swaggar I haven't seen from the Saints in years...Drew Brees is showing he was no product of the SD system and is a smart QB...Bush/Deuce such a potent RB tandem...Horn/Colston/Henderson are catching the ball well and I am very impressed with the play of the defense...
Let's talk about Carolina for a bit - they are 1-2 - the most overhyped team in the league - granted Steve Smith gave the team a boost - but they barely got by TB and almost blew that game...what i love most is catching more than 7 - the 7.5 is key...this could be a TD game either way...i think it stays w/in 3...i think the Saints can go to 4-0...remember they went in and beat Carolina last year - and that team is so different than this current Saints team...I think Carolina struggles to run the ball - they have some offensive issues that won't be solved overnight...Saints have already gone 2-0 on the road - i know against Cleveland and GB - but the point is Sean Payton has this team focused each and every game - i like him alot as a coach and the discipline he brings to this team - he will have them ready come Sunday...
Take the 7.5 with the Saints this weekend - i'm very confident in the play, and will be playing it strong as it is the best play on the board as I see it...
