Auburn will need all hands on deck this Saturday as No. 6 and defending National Champion LSU visits Jordan-Hare Stadium. Fortunately, Auburn appears to be in excellent shape on the injury front.
"This is about as healthy as we've been," AU head coach Tommy Tuberville said. "That was a pretty physical game Saturday (against Mississippi State)."
Lester has practiced the last two days and should play Saturday.
It appears running back Brad Lester, who was carted off the field with a neck injury in the MSU game, will be ready to play against LSU. Lester has practiced the last two days although he's yet to go through contact drills.
"Brad looked good, much better," Tuberville said. "He ran the ball hard. His range of motion is good. Barring any kind of setback, if he continues to do what he's doing, he'll be ready to go."
Tuberville said Lester was still working some of the stiffness and soreness out of his neck.
"If we played today, he could play," Tuberville said. "In the next couple of days, it could flair up on him but I think he's ready to go."
