i had a couple of those in mind early as well. specifically Ole Miss, UNC, and FSU. Curious about Va Tech, though.

does WVU play this weekend? that could be a team to fade. their fall could be a hard one.

My VT lean is based on Nebraska not being tested so far, while the Huskers 'biggest' game of the season is looming. Very interested in this line......

Expect a flat defensive effort from LSU this week. They left it all on the field saturday GL:weed:

i hear what you saying but this is Miss St they have scored a total of 9 points in the last 2 games.

I would expect a dull offensive rather than a dull defense.

I expect flat play in all phases. LSU 31-Miss St-13

Ok Ill give yall the full scoop on State... I will be in Baton Rouge to watch this game... State last week against GT, was their own worst enemy... We got down the field pretty easily but somewhere along the way found a way to kill ourselves... Then we just gave up... Pretty frustrating to drive all the way to Atlant and watch your boys give up... This team is very undisciplined... After watching us play in 4 games I really dont see us hanging with LSU. State never plays LSU close and will get routed 45-10.

If yall want easy money, bet against State.

Hi Cie. Why the lean to Michigan?

Thanks!

Mich D is solid, and Wisky may be kept in check on the ground. A one-dimensional Wisky is very beatable.

Also, I see Michigan as being undervalued and Wisky as overvalued. I realize this is the Big Ten opener for both teams, but I still have to think Wisc players may be taking this game lightly against a perceived inferior foe with Ohio St on deck. I also love the line opening just under a TD. GL:weed:

Croom is losing control over the team... They have the talent but dont utilize it at all... Hopefully Tyson Lee will start this week cuz Carroll just isnt good... Not a good leader or passer... Robert Elliot needs to play alot this week... Dixon runs to the line and dances... Elliot is fast and hits the hole hard

Yates Tells Teammate He?s Out For The Season
Published by BomaniJones September 21st, 2008 in ACC Football. 7 Comments

According to a source close to the football team, North Carolina quarterback T.J. Yates told a teammate that an MRI revealed a fracture in his foot that will sideline him for the remainder of the season. Shortly before 9:00, Yates sent a text message to one of his teammates saying his injury would sideline him for the rest of the year.

In the third quarter of Saturday?s loss to Virginia Tech, the sophomore got up gingerly after being sacked by Orion Martin, then limped off the field after being hit on the following play and did not return to the game.

E-mails and messages left with UNC Associate Athletics Director for Athletic Communication Steve Kirschner and Deputy Director Kevin Best were not returned.

This likely means Mike Paulus, who struggled in Yates? stead, will start for UNC in Saturday?s game at Miami.

UPDATE: Just got off the phone with Kevin Best, who could neither confirm nor deny Yates? injury, but he said Yates had an MRI this evening.

GL, Cie. I like the Michigan play. There's been offensive improvement of late and I think you'll see value in the lines as they move into the B10 season.
