Week 5

Chicago +2.5

I jumped on this too quick and now the line is +3. The fact that Carolina has guys off the street in the back field is only going to help Chicago. Just like I said it would last week against the Ravens. Another week of resting up for some injured players on the Bears. Cam isn't going to run as much as he use to, still protecting those ribs I believe. Can he throw like Rodgers all game with Benjamin and Olsen? I don't think so. Bears win straight up too, going to watch and see before I jump on Bears ML

Cincy -1

Cincy is coming off of a bye, they can run the ball. They have a game manager, and their D is going to get after the Pats line. All of these things go against New England. I just can't see much left in New England to put up a fight. Last night was a pathetic showing from the Patriots. Cincy rolls.

More as the week develops.

S.D. -6.5

Mismanagement by the coaching staff is the only thing that is keeping S.D. from being undefeated. They should have won week 1, they didn't but they still covered. Donald Brown looked solid and this Oliver kid is a poor man's Sproles and he looked really good against the Jaguars.

yes I know its the Jags but a lot of people were expecting the Jags to cover in that game. SD O and D line are huge, Rivers is playing the best he has in years and he has more weapons in the passing game.
Gates, Green, Floyd, Allen, Royal, Oliver and Brown. I'll take this group instead of Geno Smith swearing and throwing the ball to Kerley and Decker.

Chargers Roll, we all have to listen to Berman sing "San Diego Super Chargers"

TNF

Packers -7 (bought a point)

Schefler just said that everything points to Ponder starting tonight. With Ponder out there I don't like the Vikings chance.

Keeping a close eye on the weather here for the O/U. Will have a better idea this afternoon.

GL everyone

Also Packers -8 with my local guy

Double play action tonight

Adding

Denver -7

Over the past 6 seasons that Manning has played. Coming off a bye week his teams have won by an average of 16.5 points

Only time Peyton didn't cover -7 during those six seasons was 2008 Beat Texans by 4. This is when the Texans were actually good.

Zona D is pretty legit, Denver offense is too much. Welker back to practice after this suspension and one quick game. Too many options on Denver. Stanton, who's been playing well. Just won't be able to keep up with the Broncos offense and then the Broncos D will start to make some plays.

Plus its in Denver

Adding Pitt -6

Too much over thinking about this, Pittsburgh is better than Jaguars. Have better skill position and Bell is gonna look to get loose today. Pittsburgh should roll, they need to have a blow out so Tomlin doesn't look so stupid.

GL everybody, let's hit'em

That Bears game was the absolute worst.

Trestman figures out a way to not go back to what was working in the 1st half even though all of the same keys were there.

What a joke

9-3 so far this week with SNF Cincy -1 left. (bought 2nd half plays were double plays and counted as 2, in case anyone actually keeps track of my picks other than me) :mj07:

Let's finish today off!

I'm a square but after a bye week I can't see Seattle laying a turd on the field tonight like Cincy did.

Bought a half point just in case Seattle -6.5 Double play

Week 5

9-5 on the week.

Already on Seattle for a double play at -6.5

Also took Seattle -7 with my local.

Seattle seems to love prime time games, having a week off doesn't make me worry about the West to East trip. Plus its not an early game so the time difference shouldn't matter

12-5 week

40-19 thru 5 weeks

That late FG broke the push. Just like I was saying in the in game thread. Lucky but I'll take it. Glad I bought that half a point though.
