Went heavy on the moneyline dogs this week. Usually week 7 to about week 13 or 14 are my favorite weeks. Good luck and feel free to post any questions or comments below. I will respond to them.

NEW ORLEANS -2 1/2 over San Francisco 2*

Seattle PK +190 over ST. LOUIS 2*

Carolina PK +186 over ATLANTA 2*

Jacksonville PK +104 over BALTIMORE 2*

Washington PK +270 over GREEN BAY 2*

Agree with you Nick, good luck this weekend.

Sidenote I am alive as a few here are in my deadpool still. 80 people left out of @500, winner takes $18,400. This week 45 picked Cleveland, 30 picked Green Bay (I took Chicago).

Dont you think there at least a 50-50 chance that either Houston or Washington wins straight up? I will dance in the street if they both win.

Phil:

I was leaning towards HOU plus the points, also. I like that play a lot (of Nicks).

However, did you see QB Ramsey play last week? I know I'm biased against holdout rookies -- but he had trouble throwing the ball passed the line of scrimmage! After the relxed effort when he came of the bench at Nashville the week before, the pup looked confused and ill-prepared. Now, you really think this team -- one of the most over-rated defenses in the NFL -- will beat Green Bay? I realize anything is possible, and I don't agree with taking Redskins plus the points -- but to play them on the moneyline in this spot with pup holdout Ramsey is like buying a lotttery ticket.

To Nick, Phil or others -- What am I missing that gives you confidence Washington can win this game?

Seattle over St. Louis?

I know the 'public' still love this team, and they have been a great go-against, but I get the distinct feeling they not only win but cover here.
With Faulk getting into some form last week, he now faces a defense with more holes than the WBNA!
I think SL will control the ground game and come away with the $$...but I'm wrong occasionally :D

i humbly think detroit, buffalo and tampon bay all have legitimate chances on the moneyline. Also feel miami and philly should be strong under plays, any thoughts nick or nolan ????????:jump: :thumb:

"Since it appears clear that we are not going to get any more intelligent comments here, could someone please close this thread?"

Just kidding, Nick. One has to maintain a sense of humor about these things.

Using one of the systems based on the Hilton contest (play any team that has a consensus of or better than 75%, 3 of your plays show up - Carolina, Jacksonville, and Washington. The other one is Dallas. This has proved to hit more than 60% over the past 3 years (according to the stuff I have read) and is something like 9-1 this year.

Agree with the above that there are several small dogs that could rise up and win outright, this week.

However, a number of things kept me off the games:

DET: Looks tempting to take the points, but Lions have no running game to speak of, are down to 2 healthy WRs, and face a team that is now in a MUST WIN situation. Bears are an average team, but I thnk there's a decent chance they play their best game of the season this week. NO PLAY for me, but that's what kept me off the Lions.

TAM: Bucs look tempting getting that hook on the 3. Trouble is -- EVERYONE love Tampa this week. THe Goldman system loves Tampa. Everyone at the poker table last night likes Tampa. Hell, Sadddam Hussien loves Tampa. Line 'aint movin. WHY? Here's where the house is taking a stand on a game. Eagles are alos a team due for a convincing win against a quality opponent -- and they might get it here. Let's see, who has Tampa beaten that's worth a damn? NO PLAY for those reasons.

BUFF: I had no interest in betting this game, given the injuries and emotional factors (both team coming off hard fought wins last week). What keeps me off of Bills is that horrid defense. This team is incapable of stopping anybody. Add Travis Henry, who fumbles the ball in so many critical sitations (he nearly cost Bills the game last week -- and DID cost them the game agaisnt Jets IMHO) and finally -- Miami's dominance at home, and that's enough to keep me off of Buffalo.

I respect those who differ, but those are my opinions.
