Good Morning, Good Morning, Good Morning!!

YTD: 34-28-3.....this week, 1-1, with a loss on FAU and a win on Wake.

Another great day of college football!! :00hour

And, I am going to see my first Toledo Rocket road game today!!!

Anyway, leaving early today for Ann Arbor, so here are my afternoon plays:

Minny +12.5 over Illini. The Illini are rocking and rolling on offense, but after marquee games versus Penn State and Michigan on the road, the Illini are on serious letdown alert. You could seem them being a disinterested favorite. Minnesota has gone from one of the worst in the country with turnover margin to one of the best. I think they take advantage the Illini D and wont have too much trouble scoring on Illinois. The Illini are just 10-16 as a home favorite, 4-8 in their last 12. The Gohpers wont outscore the Illini, but they'll score enough to cover.

IU +6 over Iowa. I just cant lay points on the road with an Iowa team that turns the ball over as much as they have. They're just not a clutch team. While Greene will run all day on the Hoosiers, I feel this is a good matchup for IU. They have topped Iowa each of the last two seasons, scoring 38 points in eacch contest. They dont have much of a pass rush and have a 'meh' secondary. I think Kellen Lewis and company break out in this one. A field, not a TD, decides this contest either way.

Texas +7 over Oklahoma. Almost a decade ago, I read to always take the points when a pair of undefeated teams with 5-0 or better records play each other. I've followed that with pretty decent success since then. I have lost the numbers for this system over the long term, but in the time I have been following it, it carries a nice 8-2 record. So, I am grabbing the points in the Red River Rivalry.

UK +2.5 over South Carolina. I was wrong about the Gamecocks last week, thinking Ole Miss was the better team. However, I feel the same way in this one. UK is the better team. They're at home, while SC is on the road for the second straight week.

Vandy ML -118. Kinda wimping out by playing the ML, but its a cheap one and not much more expensive than the juice on the regular side. I will keep riding the Dores until the break. They're a top flight ball hawking unit, while not many teams are as turnover prone as MSU. We're far enough into the season, where those aren't statisical anomolies, but rather true team identities. Vandy squeaks out another one.

UB -1 over Western. I've touted the Bulls before, and I feel they're going to be a money maker in the MAC this season. The division is there's for the taking and they'll get a nice, home win today to make their case.

Northwestern +1 over MSU. I feel the Wildcats can do enough damage on offense that they will have an output similar to what Cal or Indiana scored on MSU. As a lifetime watcher of the Big 10, it seems that Sparty always lets down before a huge showdown the folllowing week and they host OSU next week. You cant look ahead on Northwestern anymore, They scored 48 on MSU in East Lansing last season and the Wildcats are a better team now, they're playing at home with a critical week of rest. I dont like MSU's D as a unit, but I do like their physical, playmaking secondary. However, I question how full strength they are back there as several of them left the Iowa game early. They wont be at 100% today, even if they all play. These games have been wild the last few seasons. MSU WRs drop too many balls for me to trust them on the road. Purple Power!!

A total of 7 plays for the day games.....i might add a couple of more and, if so, will post those if I have time before the tailgate leaves for Ann Arbor.....i will be back for the night games in time to post plays.....really cant wait to see tonight's games.....LSU-Florida ought to be one of the most fun games to watch of the season.

Good Luck!! :weed:

Well, the whole day has been a turd.....what in the world happened to UB....i could take 3-4 and turn it around tonight, but 2-5 just irks me.

Trudging onward.

Wisco +6 -110, over PSU

LSU +7, -109, over Florida

Okie St +14, -105, over Missou

So Miss +11, -120, over Boise

I am making all of these double plays......i just think we have some live dogs tonight......and, after playing it safe most of the season, I am readdy to let a little extra ride tonight.

Should be a very fun night!!!

I might start an open thread.....with one rule......please dont talk about the Michigan, er I mean, Toledo game.
