Steelers +6 -116
I am a Ravens fan but based on the eye test so far I have to say that Pitt is the better team. I just do not see how the Ravens offense gets that much better with a week off. They really have not been that good. They have issues with the interior of their offensive line that is preventing them from running the ball like last year. In addition, teams are focusing their defenses on stopping the run and forcing Jackson to beat them through the air which he has not been able to do at all so far. In fact, he has not looked great passing the ball in any game. They have young receivers with some talent but they are struggling to get open. The Chiefs gave the road map to others on how to beat them. Their defense has been strong but they have also played some of the worst offensive teams in football, especially teams with bad offensive lines. The Steelers are a well balanced team with a strong defense.
This will be a typical Ravens/Steelers game and it is a big one for the division given that Pitt is undefeated and the Ravens are 5-1. Ravens will only have 4,000 fans, so not much of a home field advantage. I really think this game should be a pick'em. Maybe I am getting suckered in, but simply based on what I have seen this year, I think Pitt is the better team right now so I will gladly grab these points now.
