Falcons@Panthers
Two teams going in opposite directions with Carolina winning and covering last 3 and the Falcons losing 4 of last 5 with only win coming against the winless Bucs. Falcons have dealt with injuries to there star WR's all year and have averaged a league low 62 yds per game on the ground. QB Ryan is throwing a league high 43 times per game and without his top 2 WR's this has been a bad thing for Atlanta. Panthers have not allowed a 1st half td on defense this season but have faced just one team with a winning record all year. This is a statement game for the Panthers as the second half of there schedule gets tougher with the 49ers and Pats on deck and two meetings with division rival Saints in the upcoming weeks. Falcons have dominated this series winning 5 of the last 6 and something tells me this one will be played closer than the spread.
Predicted score: Panthers 24 Falcons 20
2*Play: Falcons +7.5 -110 $220 wins $200
Opinion- Play under 45
Vikings@Cowboys
Ponder getting the nod on Sunday, all three QB's just average anyway. Two poor defensive teams with Dallas missing there best pass rusher Ware. Sideline drama/passion with Dez in last Sundays collapse to Detroit, see how the Romo/Bryant connection responds this week. Minnys only chance here is to feed AP the ball but is he 100%? You would think not when the Vikings average just 22 runs per game. Dallas is 4-0 ATS at home this year and 7-1 ATS overall. Cowboys have averaged 36.5 pts per game at home and Sunday doesnt appear to be a game in which they will get slowed down.
Predicted score: Cowboys 34 Vikings 21
1*Play: Cowboys -9.5 -110 $110 wins $100
1*Play: Cowboys/Vikings over 49 -110 $110 wins $100
Saints@Jets
Pre bye week for Jets who got crushed 49-9 last week at Cincy. Jets been pretty good at home going 3-1 while Brees has actually been un Brees like in his career vs the Jets going just 2-2 with 3 tds and 5 ints. Geno Smith has been sacked 28 times which ranks second in the league and the Saints are 1st in the league at sacking the QB averaging 3 1/2 sacks per game. Look for the Jets to ground and pound on Sunday and keep the game close.
Predicted score: Saints 24 Jets 20
Opinion- Play Jets +7 -130
1*Play: Saints/Jets under 46 -110 $110 wins $100
Titans@Rams
No opinion
Chiefs@Bills
When I first looked at this game I thought it would be a perfect spot for a KC let down. Now with the QB situation for Buffalo uncertain I kinda want to stay away. Buffalo tends to play close games at home but I think the Chiefs conservative approach will frustrate the Bills and eventually open up some big plays for KC. Looking for a close game with Kansas City going into there bye week still undefeated.
Predicted score: Chiefs 23 Bills 20
Opinion- Play Bills +3.5 -110
1*Play Chiefs/Bills over 40 -110 $110 wins $100
Chargers@Redskins
Every area of capping that I look at except rushing, the Chargers hold an edge but situationally I am backing the Redskins this week. On paper this Redskins defense has looked awful however if you dig deeper they have been set up to defend short fields due to poor kick coverage, bad turnovers or just flat out play exhausted due to the offenses numerous 3 and outs. Lets face it, the Shanahans (Mike and Kyle) are a horrible coaching tandem and Im beginning to think they want RG3 to fail. Something tells me this week Griffin takes matters into his own hands and has a big game along with the defense showing up big.
Predicted score: Redskins 27 Chargers 20
1*Play Redskins pk -110 $110 wins $100
2*Play Redskins/Chargers under 51 -110 $220 wins $200
4pm quick picks:
Raiders -1 & under 44.5
Bucs +16 & under 40.5
Ravens -1 & over 41
Steelers +7 & under 44
8pm quick pick
Colts -2 & over 44
Good luck MJers
