Wow, I was hoping Miami Ohio would come out at minus 1, I was going to hit it hard but shell shocked that it came out so high and now has been bet up.

Notre Dame

Navy they may score 60 points on Army

Oreg State, 21 is alot ofpoints against the beavers

Hawaii, I know Boise is on fire but Warriors are playing good at home

Georgia is a pass right now for me

14 is alot of points to give KState but I am undecided right now.

Gridiron, you may be right but I anticipate that number may move a little, I am real interested to see where the total comes out on this game (BGSU-Mia). As far as Georgia, at this point I am going to pass but I am sure that as the game approaches I will have to get some action, but I dont know if I can go against LSU, just my opinion but at this point in the year LSU, USC, Okie, Miami Oh and Mich seem to be the top 5 teams in the country.

Juji, can't disagree with you tough to go against Hawks in this spot, the line is wack and I believe you are right Vegas is wanting action on BG.

DjChad, Allready nailed Navy at 21.5 triple play for me, liek the total over also but Army has had trouble scoring.

ARMY...Knights are trying to avoid their first winless season since 1973, but defense has allowed 1,302 yards & 69 first downs in last 2 games!

GEORGIA...Starting jr. DE Pollack played very little in 2nd half vs. Georgia Tech after re-aggravating turf toe injury, but he did have a key 4th-Q sack in win over Jackets. Starting jr. DE Geathers (thigh bruise), RS frosh RB Cooper (sprained ankle), true frosh LB Verdun Wheeler (concussion), and starting sr. CB Thornton (broken thumb) were hurt during game, though Thornton returned to action later with his hand heavily bandaged.

HAWAII...After last week?s home win over Alabama, HC June Jones announced sr. Whieldon, who had 4 TDP to lead come-from-behind 37-29 win over Tide, would start at QB vs. Boise State in place of struggling jr. Chang.

KANSAS STATE...Starting sr. FB Travis Wilson & starting sr. CB Randy Jordan DNP vs. Missouri, but both are expected back this week.

MIAMI (OHIO)...Sr. MLB Terrell Jones (101 tackles) DNP at Central Florida, and impact true frosh DE Sills (leg; 6 sacks) is not expected to be available this week.

NAVY...Middies (7-4 SU, 8-1 vs. spread TY), who won 3 games in previous 3 seasons combined, have already accepted an invitation to play in the Houston Bowl, their first postseason appearance since 1996.

OKLAHOMA...Sooner assistant head coach & co-defensive coordinator Mike Stoops, brother of HC Bob, accepted offer to become head coach of Arizona last Saturday. Mike will remain with OU through this week?s Big XII title game and will formally assume Wildcat helm on December 8.

OREGON STATE...With sr. LB Lowe?s recent season-ending knee injury, Beavers were down to 3 healthy LBs near end of loss at rival Oregon after jr. OLB Pollard went out with a high-ankle sprain. Starting sr. DE & long snapper Rothwell (foot/knee) is doubtful this week.

SYRACUSE...Starting QB Anderson was severely limited by a sore throwing shoulder last week. Jr. RB Reyes (1,158 YR, 15 TDs, 5 ypc), starting sr. MLB Scanlon (team-high 136 tackles) and starting soph FS Anthony Smith, along with a few Orange assistant coaches, entered the stands after game at Rutgers and engaged in some pushing & shoving with Knight fans. Head coach Pasqualoni says he will investigate the incident. With loss at Rutgers, Syracuse will probably fail to earn a bowl invitation for 3rd time in last 4 seasons, and Big East sources believe Pasqualoni will be fired following finale vs. Notre Dame. Orange have lost 4 of last 5 SU and have scored only 4 offensive TDs in those 4 losses.

Well Nord is out at UTEP thats three coaches that have bit the dust in the past 3 days, Nord, Solich and Minter. I was reading the chat at ESPN with Trev Alberts about the Nebraska situation and although he feels that he would be the best coach for the Huskers (LMFAO) he does bring out some good points on why Solich was canned. He says that once Nebraska names a new coach people will be shocked at whom they name, I guess you could take this statement two ways: 1) That they are going to look to the lower divisions in college football and try to find another Tressell, 2) Or they have a big name in line allready, someone said on his chat that it was Spurrierwhich I would highly doubt since he prefers a warmer climate, one name I was thinking of is Rick Neuheisel, I wonder if they would take a flyer on him? I still think that Bo Pellini is the front runner for the position, if he gets the job it would be funny to have him at Neb and Stoops at Okl since both went to high school within miles of each other and played for rival schools in the Youngstown area. I think the Cinci job is a job that has alot of upside, they are moving into a new conf and the Cinci area is a fertile recruiting ground.

I beg to differ with you on your comment about Jim Tressel, he was far from being a unknown when he took over at Ohio State, as a matter of fact he was offered both the Miami of Florida and Maryland head coaching jobs before he took over at OSU. One big difference I see between Nebraska now and when Tressel took over at OSU, the Huskers have very little talent and whomever takes over that program is going to have to take some lumps, when Cooper left the cupboard was still slightly stocked for Tressel. Just my hunch but I doubt any big name coaches will go to Nebraska, too much expectations and pressure with very little there to build on, I think they will look to a young coach in one of the smaller conferences such as Meyer at Utah or possibly the guy at Tulsa. I doubt Bo gets the job he is Buckeye grad and played for Cooper I think he will wind up with the Buckeyes when this is all over. On the Bearcats, I agree with you that the area has a boatload of athletes but very few want to go and play at UC the campus has more of a urban feel like Cleveland State, and lacks alot of the atmosphere that players want today. They will struggle in the Big East, they have no fan base and will kill the conf in football for attendence.

TheGridiron,

While you bring up a ton of good points I would have to say that your wrong if you believe that the Nebraska job is not one of the top ten jobs in college foots. I assume that you are a Ohio State fan, so tell me whats the difference between the expectations at OSU and Neb? As far as Tressel coming into a program that was allready stocked, he also was taking over a program that was littered with thugs and criminals from the Cooper era and Tressel has brought in some problem recruits himself, I lost a great deal of respect for Tressel over the way he handled the Clarett situation. Do you honestly believe that Tressel never read the Ny Times article or as he said he had no indication of what Clarett was doing? Come on, Tressel is a hands on guy, he knows everything that is going on and to blatantly lie about not knowing anything was a joke. I also doubt if Bo Pellini will end up at OSU, what would he go there for? Tressel will retire from OSU unless he runs into trouble with the NCAA again, he got a lifetime exemption at OSU by winning the NAt Title, so what would Pellini go there for? I do agree with you on Cinc they really have no fan base, but the campus is not as bad as Cleveland State's which is in the hood.

MAC Title

Have been back and forth on this one all day between playing the side and the total but decided to go with a side here. I really like the under in this game 58 is alot of points to score in cold weather and especially in a championship game where everyone plays tight until usually the 2nd half and if you watched the Toledo and BG game the field was a pig sty with little chance of improving with the weather. On the other hand, I cant go against BGSU's record at home even though I feel Miami is by far the better team in this tilt, I think Harris and the boys will keep this game close and either win or lose by 3 points. Be forewarned I have went against Miami 3 times this year and had my ass handed to me all three times and when I backed them against Iowa I lost also, thus I cant get a good feel for them

BGSU +7 **
