Gone are the glory days when you had Vai Taua rush for 4588 yards. No more Colin Kaepernick, who was the ONLY player to throw for over 10,000 yards AND rush for over 4000 yards in his career. Want more? Three of your top four receivers are gone as well, leaving only Rishard Matthews as an experienced target.

I can only imagine the long plane ride home to Duck Country for the boys in green. Your coach challenged you publicly about the fact that you are just not physical enough? How would you respond?

This was a nightmare scenario for Chris Ault, and a great one for college football degenerates like me-self. You can factor in emotion in college football, and this is the week to do it for the Quack-ers.opcorn2

I will say that I am a little concerned with line movement. I would feel better if it went up.

There are several reverse line movement games I am looking at:

thoughts on the Vols game?

I will be hitting over 53. I think Tenn showed some vulnerability on D looking at the box score last week. Montana had just 1 fewer first down and just 93 fewer yards than the Vols, and they turned the ball over 3 times.

I do like the Vols offense and I expect to see an improvement from Week 1 to Week 2, but I do think Cincy can and will score some points on the Vols. I don't think it gets too out of hand either way and I see it developing into a game where they go back and forth score for score more than a lopsided affair.

53 seems quite low to me as I can see both teams scoring 4 TD at least.....

Very strange total, I just saw that. I expected this to be around 63. I don't think this can possibly be a trap as it will be sunny and 75 degrees. I will be on the over with a write-up later.

It is hard to analyze either of these two after this past week.

I didn't learn much from either Cincy or the Vols last week, but I feel pretty good about my play here. I am not going to go crazy, but there is definitely value in one area.

Vols/Cincy over 53 for $100
The first time I saw the total, I thought it was a trap. Here is why, I think Vegas knows that the Vols have to establish a running game and will try very hard this week to keep the high powered Bearcat offense off the field. I think that it will not matter because the Cincy defense, although experienced, sucks.

Even if the Vols cannot run the ball, Tyler Bray will have no problem throwing the ball at will. I will be floored if the Vols don't have at least 4-5 TD's in this game.

I don't like the line in this game because I think Cincy will put up points as well. The Vols are still young, and Mo Couch is still questionable with a sprained MCL, which will hurt the D-Line on the fast-paced offense of Cincy. The Vols are still thin at LB, so I think Pead can run, and the secondary is talented but prone to give up the big play.

I think this is going to be a fun game to watch, and I think the Vols will pull it out in the end. I am looking for a 35-31 type of game.

You know FCP, it is just bizarre to me why it is that low, but I think maybe the SEC is still seen as a conference that is not going to have many shootouts. This one should be fun.
