Looking at the Athletics-Angels game

Where have the bats gone for the Angels?
This series we have 2 low scoring games both 2-1.

The # is set at 8.5,too low i think, especially with these 2 pitchers.

These 2 teams are capable of going over the number by themselves when the wood is alive.

Look for that tonight.

The A`s send lefty Joe Kennedy to the mound..
This guy is filling in for Rich Harden..
He was acquired from the rockies..

*Kennedy overall 5-8 6.77 era*
*Santana 7-6 4.94 era*

Santana coming off a real bad game against the devil rays..
3.2 innings
10 hits
7 earned

While Kennedy was with the devil rays from 2001-2003 he faced the angels 7 times and the angels
went 7-0 in his games.
In this ball park he has pitched..
15.1 innings
15 earned runs

The Angels bats are hitting .316 against leftys in there last 10 & .271 overall

I am looking for Santana to duplicate his last outing
to a degree, maybe a little pressure in a pennant race.

And Kennedy, i don`t` believe in him at all,i might be wrong though.

*Kennedy stats*
Away 3-7 5.92 era BAA .292
Leftys .293
Rightys .320
Overall the league is hitting .315 against him
Night games 6.18 era .322 BAA

Of course the books are going with the trend and the cold bats of late with the # being fairly low.

But this is not Colon,Lackey,Zito or Harden.

So i will try the over 8.5 here.............
