These suspensions will hurt WVU...although Mountaineers are a running team..losing these guys at receiver depletes an already thin receiving corp. Freeman sucks..so he will not matter.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- West Virginia University defensive lineman Kevin Freeman has taken a leave of absence from the Mountaineer football team for personal reasons, Coach Rich Rodriguez announced Friday.

Also, Rodriguez has suspended wide receivers Travis Garvin and J.T. Perry for violations of team rules. Those suspensions are indefinite. All three players are not on the trip to Temple and will not play in tomorrow's game against the Owls, set for a noon kickoff at Veterans Stadium.

Thanks for the info ....

Thanks for the info ....

Every little nugget of info helps. Still think WVA can handle the Owls although I won't lay more than the current -7 at Oly. Possible 6 point teaser for me with Iowa St -3 & WVA -1.
