Nebraska was +3 vs UCLA at open last weekend, the line since has gone all the way to Nebraska -1.5, even with the news Dylan "Mahomey wannabe" Raiola is out for the year, my sauces say that a whale who has Vegas line influence has middled this game taking Nebraska at +3 and UCLA at +1.5. Frosh QB Lateef is from the UCLA area, high motor guy who can really run and isn't a bad on the roll out passer, so this offense is different with him in the game for the Bugeaters. Bugeaters "D" also gets back some folks with boo-boos, a revenge game as Nebraska had UCLA beat in Lincoln last year but coughed it away. QB Niko for UCLA is in the man's bag folks, they go o'fer under DeShaun Foster and since have played well under former Fresno dude, coach Skipper and lil Neuheisel has done well coordinating the offense, Bruins are 3-1 in last 4 games, winning at Michigan St, beating Penn St in a stunner and beating Terps at home then got pummelled by the Hoosier daddies last weekend. UCLA is smartin, Bugeaters rally around the freshman here and put pressure on Niko the alphabet soup guy!!

Watch this line move again to a pick'em. GLTA whatever you play!!

Nebraska will never be once they once were. Lol @ Nebraska extending Rhule's contract. They deserve what they get with him.
Agreed. There is only one Devaney, Osborn, Pellini, Solich, all had winning records, Ruhle is a different animal who speaks his mind out loud and contracts are just that and they're made to be broken, he's welcomed in Lincoln very well, had a chance to talk with him at a football camp and the guy exudes energy and knows what he's talking about. He doesn't get the 5 star recruit, albeit they landed Raiola mostly because Lanning saw how fucking slow he moves his feet etc., and he's slow afoot, Mahomey moves with quick twitch back in his younger days, since then he's gotten his bangups in the NFL, but Raiola is far from Mahomey's talents, I once scouted for the Bills besides MLB so I know the talent Raiola has, Lateef is a different beast, he either excels today or gets his ass handed to him, all in all, he'll compete with Emmet Johnson and the receiver troops, look for Williams on special teams to make a splash again, I'm not betting this game, there's better stuff on the board, but yeah, Nebraska won't be what they once were give it to Osborne & former strength coach for allowing other teams to come in and copy what Nebraska was doing in the strength room thanks to Boyd Epley and thanks to the portal and bad past juju Nebraska had by firing Solich, Pellini bringing in Bill Callahan, Scotty fake a groin injury Frost whom I know personally, top recruits didn't want to come to Nebraska when other programs developed better strength rooms and had better karma with many of them switching over to coaches who went thru the wars like Saban who climbed the mountain from being an assistant to low D1 coach to LSU to Bama, Alvarez when he was at Wisky, Joe Pa rest his soul, Lou Holtz the greatest talking spitter in coaching ranks back then, Carr at Michigan, Urban getting the talent whereever he landed who rose from assistant to low D1 ranks in the MAC to Utah to Florida to Ohio State, etc. Nebraska won't be the same again, but they are better now than what they were the last 20 years!!

Hook'em horns. I grew up watching Darrell Royal coaching, Street, Woorster, etc. With the ugliest of football helmets back in the early 70's LOL!! When he retired, I lost interest in the Horns and with all the political shit going on in Texas, irked me then and to this day. What Sark is doing is commendable, he's had a rocky past and rose above the past ashes to where he is now, thanks to Nick Saban, same with Lane Kiffin, his father was a big influence along with Tom Osborne but I believe Nick opened Lane's eyes and made him grow up and utilize his abilities on and off the field.

Good stuff!!

Early "Whale" play - Louisville, -3 moved to -6, now -3.5, vs Clemson. Ville upset yesterday and Clem won easily over Noles, which sealed the fate for Norvell and his coaching staff I'm certain!! Brohm rumored for several large coaching openings including LSU, personally Brohm is a dick, if offered, he'd be a fit at Maryland when that becomes officially open. Dabo with heat on himself. Admin won't fire him, they'll let Dabo make his own decision from what I've heard from several in the know in Clemson, SC including a top former defensive player under Dabo. I wouldn't be surprised if Louisville kicks the shit out of the Tigers in a shootout this weekend, Friday Night in the Ville.
