Can someone help me understand this...Lance Lynn has looked like Dog shit this year, and opens up as a favorite to Aaron Sanchez and the Jays?? What am I missing here, this line smells to me??

Just off the top of my head, Sanchez has not found his form this year (yet?).

I'll update if I hear anything more thru the day. :0corn

I guess, but despite Sanchez not being in true 'Sanchez form' his numbers 31.2 IP - 3.69 ERA, 1.33 WHIP. 15 BB 23K is nothing to scoff at. On the flip side we got Lance Lynn - 18.2 IP , 7.71 ERA, 2.04 WHIP 18 BB 22K, I have faded this guy a few times already this year...I want to again, but the line is throwing me a caution.

Yeah I'm not sure about this one either. Didn't generate a play on it.
Sanchez and Lynn about even in xFIP
I have Jays offense ranked a little higher, although they've been highly fortunate so far.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
Sanchez is rounding into form nicely, I'd just like to see more SO and less BB, like his last start when his fastball and changeup working so well he threw hardly any curveballs...dunno if that will work today (Twins not especially strike out prone vs Righties)...Twins have lost lots of games lately, but that's vs some of the hottest teams out there, so they are primed for some wins...Toronto losing plenty, mostly to strong pitching (but that includes Sabathia and Colon)...

Lance Lynn is a creature of habit, like you find especially with these older pitchers who've had surgery. His regular habit was thrown a loop pitching in terrible frigid weather, then trip to Puerto Rico - which also entailed starting 10 days and 6 days apart. After all that discombobulation he faced Yankees - in his first career start at Yankee Stadium - and Yanks batted him around like they do lots of guys.

Lynn?s obviously better than this, look at his ERA last season. Yes, that gap between his ERA and xERA means he's lucky/clutch in several starts starts each season (1 so far this year) and today sets up for another such possible good start (lots walks, decent SO numbers but on few wiffs, low ERA, his unlucky strand rate might trend toward normalization)....Miguel Sano, Hamstring - is not in the starting lineup today

Where it is real F ing COLD
I wouldn?t bet the Twins either but Lynn has been a steady pitcher and he?s slow cause he did t have a spring training. There has been a couple games he has pitched decent and mad a couple bad pitches. he?s walking a lot of people now witch is unusual, if he limits his walks he?s decent
