Is it just me or does anyone else think Notre Dame getting a BCS Bowl bid is ridiculous...I could name several other teams that are more deserving...I can't stand the politics that are involved with this school...well at least LSU will give them another butt kicking...

Wisci is more deserving but I honestly can't find another team that has any better argument than ND. There are really only 6 BCS caliber teams this year. The rest are filler.
a few SEC teams especially Arky,Wiscy, WV, Rutgers, Cal, a three loss Texas, Neberska these are all teams that I believe would beat ND SU.....IMO if it was possible they should have played Boise St in a bowl...I'm sorry but ND is just not that good...
Wisci clearly has an argument, but the almighty BCS bylaws say they can't go, so that argument is dead by default.
ND isn't a good team but all of those other teams have ugly blemishes as well. When it comes down to it, who really cares whether ND or a team like Rutgers gets included? At least the ND name brings some interest to the Sugar Bowl. Love em or hate em, nationally, people care about ND. Can't say the same about WVU or Rutgers.
good point...and that bylaw sucks...and I guess what gets me is the fact they don't share that bowl money with any conference and how in the hell does a team that's probably around 15-20 best in the country get an at-large bid...that's just crazy to me...
