Donald Trump Revealed His Billion-Dollar Tax Write Off on ?The Apprentice? 15 Years Before New York Times ?Bombshell?

The media is giddy with the release of old tax documents that they think will embarrass Trump. Yet they have been telling us for over 2 years now that they want to see the tax returns because they will show Trump's dirty deals with Russia. So they get 10 years worth of old returns and not one mention of Russia ties in this "blockbuster" release. Shouldn't there be headlines about the Trump/Russia connection in his tax returns?

This just reinforces what we have known was a lie all along. They don't hope to find a Russia connection in Trump's tax documents. They just want to find something, anything to embarrass Trump.

Critics gloated over President Donald Trump?s newly revealed tax details from the New York Times. But his economic struggles in the ?90s were no surprise for fans of his hit NBC TV show The Apprentice.

?It wasn?t always so easy. About 13 years ago, I was seriously in trouble. I was billions of dollars in debt,? Donald Trump said in his opening narrative of the main titles of the show in 2004. ?But I fought back and I won, big league.?

The New York Times reported new tax information about Trump?s real estate businesses, in a widely reported expose, showing a $1.17 billion loss in his various businesses between 1985 and 1994.

Trump also detailed his debt struggles in the ?90s in his 1997 book the ?Art of the Comeback.?

I just heard that intro to the show on radio and he says exactly what the the NYT times wrote in 1995 and called him the comeback kid!

Talk about fake, recycled news!

NYT 1995 Article On How Trump Lost $1Billion And Crowned Him THE COMEBACK KID!

This "scoop" by the NYT is recycled news from 1995 and 2016!!

But the operative word at the luncheon was comeback, though Mr. Trump might dispute that he ever went far away. William D. Fugazy, the limousine magnate and chairman of the Forum Club, the group of business and civic leaders that sponsored the luncheon, presented Mr. Trump with a boomerang encased in glass. "You throw it and it always comes back," he said as he handed it over.

In a flattering speech, Lieut. Gov. Betsy McCaughey called Mr. Trump "the comeback kid." Charles A. Gargano, who as chairman of the Empire State Development Corporation is himself considered one of the new powers of the state, joked about a Perot-Trump presidential ticket. "He would be the most loved Vice President since Spiro T. Agnew," he said. Mr. Gargano, who heads the state's economic development efforts, added, "Thank you for your tax dollars."

After the collapse of the real estate market of the 1980's, Mr. Trump's company was left holding some $8.8 billion in debt, causing his personal net worth to drop to a low of about $1 billion in the red by 1991.
