I will keep it short and say we had a lady working at our school a few years back that said she had cancer and got a lot of money donated to her by both the staff and the community. Someone from Alabama got wind of this somehow and called and said she had said this same thing at their school as well. After some investigating it was deemed she was fine and never had cancer. I mean this women came in with a do-rag on saying she was going through chemo. So she was ran out of town and was investigated by the state and I believe had her right to teach in georgia revoked. So the other day someone happened upon this while around knoxville http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2008/Apr/02/profits-from-webb-school-prom-earmarked-for-good/ :scared You got it, she is having a prom dedicated to her because of her breast cancer. Needless to say there were enough bitter people here that phone calls were made by quiet a few. About a week or two later a follow up to their original story :00hour http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2008/apr/28/school-fundraiser-results-in-claims-against/ There are some sic fukers in this world. I never did understand why the bitch was not prosecuted here for taking thousands of dollars for her hoax. Though she has been exposed again it is only a matter of time before this sick bitch will try it again.

Something similar happened here. A guy told everyone he had cancer. He had to go to the hospital for surgery and was gone a few days. When he got back, people in the community started taking him meals and arranging for someone to check on him. A retired neighbor offered to drive him to his appointments. The guy's condition continued to worsen and he claimed he had cancer and only months to live. The neighbor started to get suspicious because the guy wanted her to stay in the car while he went into the doctor's appointments. One time she had to go to the bathroom, and walked in only to find the guy sitting in the snack bar area drinking a coke.

When confronted by the neighbor he fessed up. He even told her that he planned to claim that he had been miraculously healed, but he did get the chance to do that.

As it turned out he did actually have a tumor and a cancer scare. The tumor was removed in the surgery and determined not to be cancerous. That should have been the end of it, but the guy really liked the attention to he dragged the medical appointments out; even faking a bunch of them.

Why did he do it? Apparently because he liked the attention.

Where it is real F ing COLD
An ex roommate once did this too. I think to get out of paying rent. He was in the hospital for kidney stones. He told his girlfriend and all his friends that he had stomach cancer that metastisized to his brain. I am a nurse and knew that he was full of BS. He had no memory loss, no loss of motor skills, and no weakness... He is a guy who wanted empathy and attention.. I don't know what makes a person do this.. Depression? Poor Self Esteem? Get Money? She should be prosecuted. What a C U N T

Sounds like she watched "The Scofflaw" episode of Seinfeld where Gary Fogel faked having cancer so Jerry would be nice to him.
