What happened in the LIU game?

CBS Sports showed LIU ahead 77-72 with 2 seconds left. Next thing they show is 78-75 final. LIU must have made a free throw and then, somehow, Qunnipiac must have thrown in a 3-pter at the buzzer.

Does anyone know what happened?:facepalm: :shrug:

LIU went 2-4 at the line in the final 30 seconds and then a 3 at the buzzer to blow the cover

Yes, LIU went to the line and split the free throws with a couple of seconds left to make it 78-72. Quinnipiac inbounded the ball and they allowed the inbounds pass to get to almost half court (left sideline) before Quinnipiac player grabbed it, took about 3-4 dribbles and made a 25 footer to make the final 78-75.

I think LIU actually split the pair of free throws three times in the last minute of the game.

dont think they ever made both ft's and went to the line quite a bit the last min +
