What if WVU Were in the Title Game?

After watching WVU win against OU, I thought to myself, I wonder what would have happened if they hadn't lost to Pitt. Then it dawned on me. Rich Rodriguez would still be coaching them. Rich Rodriguez was probably thinking about the Michigan job before WVU had jumped up to the top of the polls. He couldn't have expected WVU to make that jump. He had already began making plans to go on to Ann Arbor. But the unthinkable happened. They made it to number 1 in the nation. That was going to put a wrench in his plans. He couldn't hang around WVU until January 7, and he couldn't leave WVU if they became National Champions. He had to make sure they didn't win the Pitt game. He kept their main man, Pat White, on the bench and let him watch as his beloved Mountaineers fell to defeat.
Rich Rodriguez was now free to follow his dream on to Michigan, while the Mountaiineers were left to swing in the wind. WVU showed what they were capable of against OK. They should be playing for the National Championship tonight.
Dare I say, THE FIX WAS IN . . . and Rich Rodriguez was the mastermind.
