i can't believe, everybody is backing T.B.???????? this raider team is for real!!!! they are as well balanced of a team, as i have seen in a long time in the nfl.
there last 3 games:
20- 0 over kansas city
a great offensive team
30-10 over the jets
remember the hottest team in the league
41-24 over tenn
a team that only lost 1 game since oct.

3 games 91-34 over teams that all could beat tampa bay.

the nfc, is not strong. the afc, is much the superior conference.
and the afc. west, is the best division in football.

everybody is talking about the defense of the bucs, does anyone realize, had good the raiders defense is, just look at there last 3 games. this team as a whole is hitting on all cyclinders, and i just dont see tampa bay, staying close!!!!!!

I LOVE THE RAIDERS HERE, I THINK THEY CRUSH THIS TEAM!

MORE LATER
GOOD LUCK DAN;)

First of all you have said you liked the Raiders every week this season. I did a search and went all the way to week 5. I'm a bucs fan but have a great feel of this team and have successfully bet against them at least 5 times in the last two years. As to your point of the Afc west being the best division in football. I'll ask why only 1 team in that stellar division made the playoffs. Your game shutting out that stellar Kc team while impressive may be tainted a little by the fact that the best player on the Chiefs did not play and it was played in a monsoon.
Secondly To say the Jets and the Titans and the Chiefs could beat the Bucs is probably at best a crack induced dream. The Bucs give up 12 points a game. LESS in the playoffs. The Raiders give up 19 a game Which is 1 full touchdown more. The bucs scored nearly 22 points a game in the regular season. 27.5 in the playoffs. Which states that they are playing better in the playoffs on both sides of the ball than they were in the regular season against better competition.
Both teams win their games by an average of 9 points a game Bucs 22ppg and 12 points against a game. Raiders 28 ppg and 19 points against. The way I see it the Just avraging what the Bucs score a game(22) and what the Raiders give up a game(19) You get 21 that the Bucs should score. FActor in the bucs are scoring more in the playoffs and the Raiders defense is not as good as the eagles and the weather and field conditions should be condusive to scoring, The Bucs should land on 27 -30 points.

Now average the Raiders points per game (28) and the Bucs points aganst (12) and the Raiders should score 20. Factor in the raiders are scoring more in the post season albeit against the jets and the titans who give up alot of points. The Raiders adjusted score should land on 22 -24 points.
If you disagree I posted a thread in the General thread and I welcome your wager. Good luck And enjoy the game. I think it is going to be a great ball game.

Smashmouth,

While you make valid points, I think the tampa numbers are skewed a little bit due to the SF game. Now I know they have to play the teams on thier schedule, but SF wouldn't have beat the bears with Henry Buris at QB that week. So the 12 pts against is a little misleading.

Also in the Philly game the defense scored one of those TD's, and Tampa was outgained by Philly in that game. They won the TO battle, I beleive that was the difference in that game.

TB IS A VERY GOOD TEAM AS IS OAKLAND. TO WILL BE KEY. THE RAIDERS ARE MY TEAM, BUT THEY HAVE BENEFITED FROM THE TO BATTLE AS WELL. THE ONLY OVERLOOKED POINT IS THE RAIDERS DEF. THEY DID A GOOD JOB PRESSURING MCNAIR, BUT HE STILL GOT AWAY MANY TIMES. BRAD JOHNSON WILL HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF THE BALL THROWING BECAUSE I REAALY DON'T THNK HE CAN SCRAMBLE TOO WELL.
SMASH, IF BRAD HAS HAD SUCCESS RUNNING LET ME KNOW. I HAVE NOT WATCHED TB A WHOLE LOT THIS YEAR, AND WHEN I HAVE HE HAS SOMETIMES BEEN INJURED.

Elvis< Brad can't run. What is helping him is the 3 step drops and ghetting rid of the ball quickly in the last 5 games he has started.
I think Philly was shocked by how well he had picked up the West Coast O.

If Philly wasnt....(and I'm guessing they were)....I sure was. His ability to read that defense and then release so quickly....was in my opinion.....the deciding factor in the game.

It was never more obvious than the quick slant to Keyshawn for 6. Did you see Philly just standing around with their jaws dropped on that one? And that was even the first play following a timeout.

If he's able to read and hit the short routes like that Sunday....its going to be a fun game to watch

hey smashmouth/

hey smashmouth/

i respect everything you say? i may not agree, but i respect you. furthermore, i'm not here to battle or fight anyone, i'm here to give my insight, or perdiction!! if you read back at my treads, you will notice i have been doing real good . and one more thing, i didn't bet the raiders everyweek, i took miami, and kc at kc. and won them both, yes i did bet the raiders alot this year, and i made a ton on them. and i will continue, to ride them, one more time!! i really feel they are the best team! i bet your tampa bay last week and the over, i loved them against the eagles, but this week, i feel they are outclassed? again this is only my opinion, i wish you the best, my friend.

Guy's

Guy's

VERY interesting thread. I am NOT a fan of either

club. So this will be an UNBIASED opinion. In ALL the

threads I've been in lately. All I read is about the Bucs

Defense. NOT one word about OAK's high powered

offense. If I remember correctly, and when I look back

at Buc's schedule, I DO NOT see Tampa facing an offense

quite like the RAIDERS. Tampa DEFINITELY has a great "D".

NO question about that. But OAKLAND's not exactly swiss cheese.

There have been GREAT points made in this thread. I just wanted

to play the devils advocate a bit, to bring up a different

perspective. Sorry for the intrusion.............Doc.

That's True Doc Holiday

Ya know some how Philadelphias pathetic offense mustered 312 yards.
Okay if Tampa gets all the turnovers etc..yes they will pull off the upset.

BUT here's an interesting stat i saw @ a Stat site....

Tampa is 4-3 against teams with a winning record.
Oakland is 8-3 against teams with a winning record.

So Doc you may be rite. Tampa has been playing some candy -ass teams.

:D
