Where is the Angels closer Troy Percival with the game on the line and only needing 4 outs to win the game??? They have just blown the series right there thanks to poor game management.

That is exactly what I was thinking at the start of the 8th.........if youre not going to use your best reliever in that situation then when are you going to? I bet if the Yankees were up by 1 going into the 8th you would surely see Rivera.........sometimes these managers decisions defy logic.

i would have at least had him out there to get that last out in the 8th.....use Weber for the pit of the order and bring in Perci for the top of the order......and when Weber lost Soriano after 0-2, you DEFINITELY get his ass out of there......4 outs is nothing....especially with days off in this series....what the hell are you saving Percy for????

First of all, Weber should have never gone out there in the first place. Donnely should have started the 8th. But after Weber walked the first two, Percival should have come in, not Schowenweiss. Attention Scoscia - this is the playoffs - only 5 games. You need 4 more outs. Leaving Percival to sit it out in the pen is akin to football coaches that "save" their timeouts and end up not using them. I like Scoscia alot, but he makes many strange moves. In a key game last week or so, he brought Schoenweiss in to face a lefty so he could get the lefty-lefty matchup. TV announcers knew that the lh batter was htting over .400 against Schoeweiss. Why didn't Scoscia know it as well. Guy got a hit. Angels desperately needed to get one in NY -no excuse for losing this one.
