Cheney kicked that little liberal's ass. An epic ass whipping! Edwards was pathetic lol..He just sat there smiling like a creepy mal-practice attorney. I like when Cheney called him on his senate attendence record! 33 of 36 missed meetings! 70% missed intelligence meetings. Priceless. Ouch, it was almost hard to watch lol.

I admit Kerry won the first one. Bush could have done much better. I think Bush will do much better with the public asking questions as he is a more personable a real individual, at least I hope being a neocon and all. I think Kerry is all show, so concerned about public opinions that he may pull a flip-flop right there on stage.

I always wonder what your motivation to use derogative terms like neocon is. It's probably why you never get many decent responses.

Kerry performed better in their debate. Cheney did slightly better than Edwards in theirs. But the simple truth is that if you still don't agree with someone then it doesn't matter who "looks" better, IMO. I am sure Cheney did nothing to convince you of voting Republican just like Kerry did nothing to convince me to vote Democrat.

I still feel that Kerry/Edwards campaign lacks real substance. They simply point their finger and repeatedly say, "John and I have a plan...."

The great part is: Edwards did a lot to convince the UNCOMMITTED voters to vote for him. Another devastating blow (no pun intended George) to the Grand Oil Party.

This thing is almost in the bag. The finishing blow to take Bush to the canvas with a sickening thud will land Friday night.

lol i just had to laugh when i seen pirate fan say that bush will do better with the public asking questions...makes me go back and watch the video of when he answered the tribal sovereignty with the dumbest answer ever....i admit i am not a bush supporter, but i also think kerry is pretty bad, bad even bush supporters have to admit he has no intelligence or speaking power, he stumbles and mumbles nonsense most of the time....

ocelot--i think Kerry did more to convince uncommitted voters than Edwards. I think Edwards drips of untrustworthiness. He uses his "golden" smile way too much. I guess I just don't like his lawyer-esque way of speaking. IMO, if Edwards were on the front of this ticket, Dems would not have a shot.

Kerry has surprised me with his composure through the campaigning. Still, I don't agree with him, but I think he is doing the things that could persuade people on the fence.

I am still looking for the 1st posted play taking these generous odds---hmmm maybe Kerry/Edwards supporters are in same mode of them--talk the talk but fail to walk the walk ;)

Current odds @Pinnacle

Wed 11/3 Party to win 2004 US Presidential Election
06:00 AM 21 Republican Party -172
22 Democratic Party +162

FWIW Clem I think the line should be much closer.I was tempted to lay a little on Kerry right after the RNC myself.--I would consider I won regardless of outcome -- and could use money if Kerry won to offset future tax increase ;)

If I had an account there (Pinnacle) I would definitely take those odds.

dawgball, as far as the effect Edwards had on uncommitted voters I was only stating what the immediate analysis showed after the debates. It was not my opinion.

Personally though, I think Edwards kicked him around pretty badly.
