Alright heres the deal I am lawn obsessed..............meaning it has taken me about 4 years now to get my lawn and landscape "perfect" and I mean perfect..............anyone who is into there lawn and landscape knows its alot of work...........

My neighbor Boris walks his dog with out a leash and I have been finding big huge poop towards the back of my lawn ................My dog is only 12 pounds and only poops in my fencedin back yard and his turds are only the size of totosie rolls...............These "mounds" of crap this guy is letting his dog leave are really starting to piss me off...............One of my newer bushes out front has a burnt out spot on it from his dog pissing on it....................The neighbor across the street said she seen his dog on my lawn............

I know you guys are going to think I am a mean bitch , but I was thinking of putting a mouse trap under some leaves right near the bush that is getting ruined  I don't know what else to do??????? maybe gather up all of this dog shit and put it on his lawn?????????

any ideas welcome LOL seriously!!!!!

Talking to this guy is NOT happening ..................His name is Boris and he barely speaks any english

Maybe make a sign of a dog taking a crap and put a circle with a line through it and temporarly put it where the dog craps and maybe he will get the idea
The guy should know better if you have a really nice lawn and he lets his dog crap there he can't be playing with a full deck or he is just that stupid.

Tbonez,

I had the same problem last year. I found a pretty effective
dog repellant online at www.Leo2000.com. I think it had to come all the way from Thailand. In the meantime black pepper and cayenne pepper sprinkled around the troubled area will work pretty good. That doesn't last very long though. After I finally discovered which dog was doing his business in my yard......I simply went over and talked to my neighbor about the problem...he was pretty cool about it.

TT

You can always do what my dad did to our neighbor in a similar situation when I was younger. He accumulated like 2 weeks worth of shit and then just dumped it on their doorstep one day. Needless to say, they got the drift.

Do what we did when I was a kid. Scoop up the shit into a paper bag, place it on old Boris's porch set it on fire and ring the doorbell.:D :moon: Maybe he will get the message .;)

"Don't put it out with your foot"

"don't tell me what to do devilwoman"

"he called the shit, poop"

Have you tried just talking to him about it? I realize he doesn't speak english that well from what you say, but I would think that you should at least attempt to address the situation with him before doing anything drastic.

stomies got the right idea, just load up on fiber saturday grab the sunday morning paper walk over to your neighbors yard and return the favor.

I actually had the same problem when I first got my new home. just had sod laid down and was watering the hell out of it, so the ground is nice and soaked. some guy down the street walks his dog down to my lawn and proceeds to let him take a dump right on my new sod. let alone him walking on it and leaving foot prints everywhere. so i walk outside and ask him nicely to remove his dogs crap from my lawn. he gives me this screw you look. so i asked again and he said nothing. so i walked in the house got some surgical gloves and came back outside. now he's looking at me all weird and stuff. so i tell him i'll give you one more chance to remove your dogs crap from my yard, and if you refuse i am going to walk right down to your house and throw this crap all over your front door. needless to say he removed it and he doesn't come around my yard anymore.

The Captain's Lawn Tip of the Day

If you got some areas in your lawn where your mut pisses and the grass never grows back, go to whereever you buy your grass seed or fertilizer and get a bag of gypsum. Get a small cup full and sprinkle it on the affected area and water it in. You will have to reseed the area, usually, but atleast you won't have brown spots all over your yard. The stuff is cheap to and will last forever if you only use it for spot treatments. Won't bring your shrubs back to life though. Can't help you there.
