NFL has these four teams playing today, because the NFL wants two games on Christmas Day.

These are the same four teams that will be playing on Christmas, and no way they would have any team play on Wednesday if they played on Sunday.

When Christmas falls on a Tuesday, or a Friday, etc., I expect the NFL will try to give more scheduling deference to CFP.
