Current lines...

Indiana -4 47
Oregon

Miami - 3.5
Ole Miss

This is interesting and been a angle of mine for years. Extremely difficult to beat a team twice in same year
especially on big stage. I will give couple examples...

ALA ov Georgia - SEC Championship Georgia
Okla ov Ala - Playoffs Ala wins
Geo ov Ole Miss - Playoffs Ole Miss
Ind ov Oregon - Playoffs ???

i hate when i like the favs at this point, but i do.

i think indiana is straight up a much better football team than oregon. they went in there and pretty much dominated the ducks. when i look at a rematch, besides the obvious stats (yardage, first downs, TOP), i look at who was able to sustain drives. oregon had one drive over 53 yards that entire game. indiana had 3 75-yard drives, all of which ended in TDs. keep in mind, too, that oregon scored one TD on a TAINT. i think, in general, that's the sort of flukey thing that isn't likely to happen again. indiana sacked moore 6 times. he wasn't sacked more than twice in any other game.

the other game, that line feels like it's begging for ole miss money. and kiffin continues to be a distraction. now they're debating on whether or not the assistants can stay at ole miss until this run is over.

i can pretty much guarantee i'll be wrong on at least one, because i already parlayed both.

oh, quick note about some of those other rematches you referenced... in the first ole miss/georgia game, ole miss led for most of that game, so they had no reason not to be confident that they could win the rematch. and, as i noted ad nauseam, alabama dominated the first matchup with oklahoma. so in both cases, the better team lost the first matchup. i think in this case, the better team won the first matchup, and should do so again.

last point... cignetti. i still don't think lanning is all that great, but he's certainly got some cojones. but cignetti vs anyone at this point feels like a mismatch.
