Guys we were told all the troops needed were in pipe line. All weekend that is what we were told. None of the following was brought upto this afternoon.
Hellar10 group is called this morning. Then they announced this afternoon. Divisions from Germany, Texas, Colorado and another state sorry forgot that one. All total close to 85000 more troops, tanks, bradleys, apache. ect. Have been called.
Guys why to I smell Syria pissing folks off. There not backing down on some supplies going into Iraq. Some of there army it was said has sent some help? And Syria has other volunteers in there air force wanting to help.
I have a hunch some of this is in case they want to join getting hell shot out of them. And did everyone see the army group that sat off Turkeys cost for 4/5 weeks is know arriving in Kuwate. Hell thats 40000 by itself with tanks and bradlyes. They first said only half would be redirected to Kuwate. Not so there all landing there today and tomorrow.
Would think if Syria has any ideas other then shooting there mouths off would be very bad for everyone.

I read on one of the networks newsline at the bottom of the screen that US intelligence has noticed that syria has stopped sending iraq equipment or supplies.

imo syria will back down. We finally have an administration who is willing to take on a country or countries who are helping or supplying terrorists. These countries only know one thing, force. I think these terrorists made a mistake by flying those planes into those buildings. After iraq, we will no longer be known as a paper tiger.

Well the warnings to both Syria and Iran by Powell and Rumsfeld must be taken seriously because we now see Iraq was warned and now invaded, there is no doubt that the Military Victory of the Coallition will be there in Iraq, but the Human cost of it is higher then first calculated, and as Ozball said in another thread, Iraqis are not friendly to invaders and that will ultimatly elect a non US friendly Gov.

I think One reason also that Syria is prepared to support Iraq is that when Iraq is Occupied, who can show any muscle for the Palestians in negotiations and so on. Syria have traditionally not had good ties ti Iraq (both hav baath party) but they have been messing about wich country have been the Original Baath, but that discussion seems to have been put on hold. Also Syria and Turkey have started to share intelligence something unthinkable some mounths ago, because they share border and both have kurds in there country.

Syrian President Bashar Assad also called on Arab regimes to oppose the U.S.-led war against Iraq. He warned that Syria could be the next target of Washington.

This Admins tactic seems to be hurling warnings left and right and get others to make the first move

the problem with an invasion Iran is that they are 70 Million people and have exellent ties to Russia and also have a defence agreement with Russia, it may also be the case that since this admin before the War, labelled Iran to the axis, that shiites are not willing to support the Us invasion. that might have been a mistake to say that Iran is next and then expect people of the same faith rise up on your side in the conflict.

I think that maybe the Admin sold the "freedom" packedge to US people but have had their eyes on other nations to.

i posted a thread before about the Oil currency and most of you saw no connection, but i think that this can be a powerful weapon for those military inferor nations to use and i think US Admins goodwill is not increasing around the world.

Venezuela and Iran both where thinking of switch to Euro before war and where placed on the Us shitlist, the latest country is Indonesia with 175 million people.

JAKARTA - Echoing a wider move away from the US dollar, the Indonesian government and the central bank, Bank Indonesia, may begin to use the euro in export-import transactions and foreign-exchange reserves.

Asia Times article

I think it all depends on how many people , son and daughters the admin is prepared to use as cannonfodder, i still dont think this war was an good idea.

But if Bush can secure the oilfields the US economy might be saved and he could move on other countrys with that money if not and all these countrys would switch to Euro, then its 1929 again and probably US will switch to Euro in 5-10 years too. the foreign investment in US is down 85% and the trade defecit is very large,

It is a big gamble

Slam it the fawk down. and hard;)

intresting development indeed

Syria is more important to have as a friend than a foe. Syria after 9-11 caught a terrorist the US were trying to catch for months. The US asked him questions while he was being held in prison in Syria, (he is still there). (forgot the name)
the story was the US was happy with the results.

It was brought up in some media that Syria traded with Iraq after the sanctions, many countries did this, believe there is a pipeline from Iraq to Syria.. they would pay Iraq $9 and sell it at world spot prices around $25 US. the US knew about this everyone did, however they allowed this in exchange for Syria help on the war on Terrorism. It will be a sad day if this co operation stops.

there will be no war with Syria or Iran, the costs of re-building Iraq will be huge, also though it does not make the news much, there is almost daily rocket attacks in Afganistan.

thanks
