What's up with all of the rising totals tonight?

I checked multiple sites and 14 of tonight's games have gone up 7-11 points. :shrug:

They are using a shorter shot clock

They're using a 30(instead of 35) sec. shot clock and a 4(instead of 3) ft. arc for experimentation.
