I know we have a lot of NBA haters...funny thing is, I can guarantee that I'll watch significantly less NCAA Basketball due to this....sorry, just an aside...

Love college football. Definitely my favorite but there is also a love/hate with it.
The system/postseason is atrocious. I miss the days before the BCS when at least you had all the big games on new year's day and might even have multiple games deciding the nat'l title.
I miss college football from the 80's when good teams ran the wishbone and most teams used the I formation and a balanced attack. I miss Keith Jackson, 8 teams in the ACC, Catholics vs Convicts...
I still like it today and just love the atmosphere and the way you see such variety in strategy and offenses.
I just wish they would clean up the sport in several ways and provide a damn playoff. 120 teams and only 2 make the unofficial "playoffs". Then they scatter the "big bowl games" instead of putting them all on one day and act as if they are playoff games or something.
I've gotten where I barely watch BCS games and last year didn't even watch the title game.
Love the game, love the season to an extent, postseason just a complete letdown. I used to discuss who should play for the title like everyone does. I don't do that anymore. Its a waste of time. 120 teams and only 2 can go? Its a horrible, ridiculous, outdated system and not worth my time. There is never a right answer to say only 2 out of 120 teams deserve to play for the title.

yep...couldnt agree more
miss the days of cotton bowl in the moring, fiesta bowl shortyly there after, rose bowl only game in the afternoon, with sugar and orange bowls at night
and there could be 1-2-3 games that have title game meaning...and if not, they were all great games between deserving teams
now....i'm like you....they're pretty uninteresting except the rose bowl and title game
