everyone will look back at this game against Gonzaga as the turning point. . . incredible game that looked like a Final Four contest to me. So many champions in the past had to have a little luck or will to get them past a game in the tourney and hopefully this was Arizona's cause if that game doesn't get Arizona going, I don't see what could.

Had no money on the game, but felt like my entire life was on the Arizona ML

Took the day off from capping games although I rode a few others on here. . . namely Central Michigan with Thunder. . . will see you all tomorrow.

hey nickel

hey nickel

I got zona early at 5/1 to win it all and KY 18/1

what do you think of lute tightening the bench, are the boys in good enough shape if they make final 4 to push thru it in finale? losing 2 from rotation might come into play big time IMO, how do you see it breaking down?

I have watched every ncaa tourney over the last 30 some years and that game ranks (zona/zags) ranks with any.

Yeah, I've seen several games myself and not sure if I've ever seen a team with more heart than the Zags (ok, NC State I suppose!). I don't understand Lute's decision to play Rodgers the way he did. . . Chris costs us so many points when he is on the floor its ridiculous, but Lute likes him. I have a feeling that Lute and Hassan Adams do not get along because he should be getting a lot more minutes than he has. Too much talent to just leave on the bench with Adams the way Lute has.

Gonzaga played like a #1 seed tonight and its fortunate that Arizona was able to pull it out (especially the officiating, but don't get me started on that one!). . .

tt boy,

Gl with that one. . . it all comes down to how Notre Dame shoots the ball. . . if they're on, then anything can happen just like how the Zags nearly pulled the upset.
