but if they werent so worried about stats,mvps and records i think manning couldve dinked and dunked his way to a superbowl before this year,,unless dungy just figured it out now that these short passes are open all day against the dfences opposing teams play against thses guys...just a theroy..you may be right about the dry field thing ,but i think grosman really had trouble with the weather also,but weve seen him play that bad before in a desert to.....manning is a great qb,but the real story here is WHO WILL BE THE BEARS QB NEXT SEASON.

Anyone who thinks he isnt a top quarterback if not the best in this league shouldn't comment about anything because they have no talent evaluations skills. This is a guy who has won his entire career with a joke of a defense. Not many quarterbacks can do this. As for MVP nobody should have gotten it before Dungy. His refusal to go for the field goal to put the game over was the bright spot of my night. I wonder if he would have kicked it if the total was 55 instead of 47?:SIB

i dont think anybody thought he wasnt a top qb...its when you start comparing him to the greats is what people ?..to me tom brady has done more with less talented teams.3 superbowls with the pat teams is amazing,,even in a watreddown league with no alltime great teams(pats have an argument)

at the top of the list of current qbs right? than i agree no doubt ,he has only 1 to pass...if you mean alltime,your nuts,or your 19 years old...remeber records dont mean chit when your calling pass plays on 1st ,2nd ,3rd,and goal at 1 yard line all season long to break records ,it doesnt impress me..have you watched joe montana??when he was in his late 30s he was 1 game away from a superbowl (just like manning for years)with a kc squad with 1/2 the talent as the colts..with the 49ers 4 superbowls 3 mvps,3 nfc championship game losses against teams like trhe 83 skins,,85 bears,86 giants,,all time great teams in his path,, he couldve made it to 8 super bowls counting 1 game shy with a pathetic chiefs team...and you want to compare manning to that
