Covers is a good start for stats. NHL.com is another good place with links to each team's websites so you can get updated info on each team. ESPN, of course, has some useful info.

Good luck this season, DD

sportspages.com is one I use to read local sports sections of various teams...helps give you an idea of the mindset and state of the players and coaches as well as possible situations where a backup might be getting a start, injuries, etc.

Forgot to mention......The resource link on top of this page has some very useful links on NHL capping.

I'm not sure if I'm breaking house rule for posting this website, but www.hockeyinformer.com (IE or Jack feel free to edit this) has player updates and goalie updates including whether a backup goalie is supposed to start. They make some errors here and there, but I'd say they're accurate about 90% of the time. There're teams like the Hawks and Bruins who're almost impossible to find out who's starting in goal.
