Ryson do not trade many penny stocks, especially the ones that are fraction of a cent. So maybe soemone can chime in, most qoutes I can get through brokers site (non and discount).

have used Etrade, but you should try a few out, and see what is the best one.

be carefull of investment boards, most now are cheerleading sites for certain penny stocks they follow.

like boards where there are bulls and bears that share and debate the information on the company....for the most part they do not exist.

have an old article on playing mining (penny stocks) will try to find and post, some good info.

finally be carefull the market has not had a great month, and is getting worried about neg. growth in the US. the economic information is hard to determine....can make a positive and negative case.....in general do not want to be long penny stocks when the market is dropping.

on the question of timing is often more important than the penny stock you invest in.....ie. during the mining boom in the mid 90s (diamonds fields, Bre-X, ect. ) small jr. cdn. mining stocks would rise 25-50% on little info, and glorified moose pasture.....but people wanted in....

Bre-X blows up, gold breaks below 300, companies that had 2-3 million ounce deposits were ignored and did nothing but drift lower, or crash quickly....the companies could not raise money.

try to buy penny stocks in a sector that will not be ignored.

thanks

You can get penny stock quotes a lot of places. Yahoo! finance is a good place. Just type in after the symbol .ob or .pk, for bulliten board or pink sheet stocks. Ex- trae.pk, is one i am currently invested in. Or pinksheets.com is good.

For trading there are many online shops that are good. I work for a wirehouse so I cannot use them, but I hear scott-trade is good.
