Actually, he was on his way to scout the spring training sites when he got some bad news about his dad. After going through a bypass not long ago, the doctors have found some other problems that they need to deal with now. So his dad is going to have to go through some procedures and Eric is justifiably upset and concerned. I don't know if he has left Vegas to go home or not. But I do know that he is having to deal with this now.
