WHERE IS THE SCORING??

Has anyone noticed the run of unders the last 2 days, I believe only 3 games have gone over the entire tournament so far. Unfortunately, I have been on a few over's that narrowly missed hitting.

After watching the games the last few days I have these circled for this week:

France - Peru Over 2.5

Brazil - Costa Rica over 2.5

Anyone else care to chime in?? Tempted to take the Belgium over in hopes that they hammer Panama, but after the last 2 days results with some of the big boys failing to impress I am a little gun shy.

This is traditional first round play. Last WC was an exception. Teams simply do not want to lose their first game, so we see tons of FH draws and unders for the game. I do not expect this to last as we get into the next round of games.

I agree...I think it will pick up too and then gradually decline.

I've never really thought about the first game thing, but yes you're right...then after that, teams usually play a lot more wide open and a lot more scoring...and then when we get to the quarterfinals and especially the semi-finals, there is a lot of parity...good team vs good team...and a lot of conservative play, not wanting to make a mistake and have to play from behind.

Let's get some gooooooaaaaaallllllsssss!! I may take the Over in England/Tunisia.

Thanks Crookity. I did get the over in that one! That said, that last goal didn't matter to me.

I had Tunisia +1, Over 2 1/2, and Tunisia ML....but had 2 units on Tunisia +1...so I ended up pushing on that one and getting the over, rather than getting that one and not getting the over...if that makes sense lol

If Tunisia would have scored that last goal though I'd be dancing naked right about now...dammit, so close...prob not that close...England looked way better to me. I'll take it.

Here come the overs, after a string of very low scoring games things are heating up, the last 3 have gone over. I see a few more higher scoring affairs to come.:toast:

Like a few others I have a future on Uruguay to win the group, so I will sit back and hope for a few goals, and a positive result of sorts from Egypt.
