Which is better?

For gambling, sports book, rooms and dining choices?

If I had to choose I'd go with Southpoint, but that is because I have been to Southpoint more. Either way you are good.

Southpoint has an excellent deli next door and also Steak and Shake close by. Waitress service is inconsistent but, there is a large bar in the area. In fact, that bar is a pretty good place to hang out as there are plenty of TV's and from the right location you still have full view of the book.

They also have some booths in the back of the sports books (the line-up of chairs are not comfortable).

They typically have enough staff on duty so the lines are not ever terrible. The race book is completely separate which is a benefit unless you are playing/watching both.

I haven't been to Suncoast so can't comment.

You going to be out there for the tournament?
