I was curious as to peoples' opinions on which way they think the line for tonights Fiesta Bowl will move. Right now my book has it at Miamia -11. I personally like the Hurricanes tonight (reasons below), and would like to get it at the lowest number possible, obviously. I know there is a heavy percentage of the money on the Buckeyes, but does anyone see it continuing to fall?

Thanks for the help and good luck to all tonight.

I like the Hurricanes tonight for a few a reasons. I do recognize and respect the fact that OSU has a great defense, however, I do not think their offense will do much. I see Miami just having too much speed and talent, and should pull away towards the end of tonights game (very similar to the Orange Bowl). Perhaps the Buckeyes will have it close at half, but I see Miami's speed and talent overpowering and dominating as game goes on. Ohio State deserves to be playing in tonights game without question, but you can't ignore the tight scores that had with teams that are definitely not the top teams in then nation. Miami should win this one by at least 14 IMO.

uhh, it's already moved down 2 points. If u like the Canes, I don't think it's going to get any lower.

SixFive - yes, I am aware it has moved 2 points already but was just wondering if anyone thought all of the Buckeye action would continue to drive it downwards. Thanks for input though and good luck tonight.

imo this line was set @-13 to draw a lot of buckeye action and give the house a significant stake in the hurricanes. the fact that it has been eased back to -11 is probably an indication that the books have their osu money and are now trying to balance the money flow a bit.

My local tookit to 10.5. But he is in middle of Big 10 country and he is trying to balance his take a little. He has a chit load on Oh St if that tells you anything.

this game is going to bounch all day up down to stay some what even or try, books are not going to get caught tonight by the groups by the number they want and get pounded they other way when they get it. every book should today move on what the need not play follow the leader like last night and get smacked ,they have had a nice bowl season and are not going to get thumped on this game its a toss up i made a very big play on the over 47 out here early to day then it went to 46 in 3 mins where i was at and now at 48 they will move on as little as 500 today at a lot of places. so if you like it bet it don't try to follow line or think it should drop or go up at game time because the book is going to protect it self today even the groups won't be able to toy the line. so play what you like and forget waiting out line because its a different type of movement on this game ,its called protection from a big hit. the book will not get exposeed or take a stance on this game.

good luck

fletcher, don't you think the books out there are already lopsided with osu action?

-11.5 (-115) at SIA. Waiting for it to drop to 11. this sucks when sportsbetting.com has it at -11 (-105) but you prefer to bet through SIA.

Thanks all for input.

Fletch - that is some very good info, appreciate it that is very interesting. So you said you liked the Over a lot? My book has it at 48, and I guess it is doing the fluctuating like you mentioned. Over bet very interesting to me, as I'm not seeing the Buckeyes put up over 14 points, so if that holds true Miami would have to put up at least 34? :yup -- Looks to me like a Miami cover in that situation. We'll see..

Bodog (my book) seems to be sticking pretty closely at -11, but we'll see. I do like Miami and will go ahead and hit it for tonight.

Good luck to all - Should be VERY entertaining game.
