After Affeldt struggled early last time out against the Sox, he decided to actually throw to the plate in his first two pitches and had some success. Garland's in la-la land right now and comes back with this "Stuff-wise, it feels like I'm there," Garland said. "I don't know if every hitter in the league is just really good or my location is that bad." :shrug: WTF? It's not my fault. Shades of 2002 and 2003 all over again.
