Garland's got some pretty horriffic stats against the Tiger batters over his career. He continually lowers his game to the level of the competition. I'm betting on the fact that this is finally the year that he is mature enough to be consistent. Ozzie's gets questions on AAA phenom Brandon McCarthy after every start and Ozzie's only mentioned how impressed he is with him only about 90 times since spring. Garland faulters and he's moved down. And he's always come to play when his backs against the wall.
