Doesn't seem to be much of an overlay on Loaiza compared to what he was going off at last year. It appears that the linemakers are expecting him to slide some this year. One of the things that he stated was the reason for his success last year was it was the first time that he had been healthy since the start of his career, so his neck problem is a worry, but he says he's 100% and he doesn't seem like the type of pitcher that would rule out ahead of time any excuse that he could blame a loss on.

The Sox bats looked great on Monday and they face another lefty which was good news for them last year and a pitcher that they did beat up on last year and over the last 3 years. Everyone except for Harris and Rowand looked very comfortable behind the plate on Monday.

Guillen needs to work on his bench demeanor. He came unglued in the ninth and players can sense that. The bulpen looked fine save for Marte who got smoked on three fastballs over the center of the plate. With Wuensch on the DL, this will be a concern. Gonna cross my fingers and hope that the Sox can hold onto the late lead on Wednesday. As IE said last week, things are going to get very interesting for the Sox this year in innings 7,8,9

Go Sox!
