While the defense had a terrible inning last night, they did make some good plays for much of the game (and for much of the season). They looked awful in one inning. Buerhle pitched well last night, IMO, and after Graffiano botched a simple double play ball, Lee lost the ball in the lights, he walked a batter after two strikes were called balls and then Delgado hit the ball to the exact position the shortstop had been playing on the shift all night but wasn't there because the bags were packed, the look on his face was priceless when the pitching coach came out to the mound. "What are you coming to talk to ME, for"?

Jimenez, Mags, and Lee all looked good with the bat and do not appear apathetic, so I expect that to continue even with the right Halladay on the mound. Colon continues to improve and the Sox should be around until the end. Like the value w/ the Sox as a dog.
