Colon and Zambrowski are both coming off great starts against the team that they are facing today, but those performances will be hard to duplicate. Both bullpens are showing signs of wear and effects of the loss of Wunsch in the middle innings is taking it's toll. With Gordon not ready to return, I'm not sure where they'll go if Colon needs to come out before the 7th.

Sox are finding a way to win and this will prove to be contagious. I expect the game to start slow, but there will be runs coming late.

Colon -125 1 unit
Over 8 (-105) 1 unit

Go Sox!! Go Over!!Go Brewers!!

interesting quote and note in the -daily southtown- on Colon going into this game...

Pulling the horse's reins

Colon's pitch count earlier in the season was between 122-130. That's not the case right now.

Manuel said because Colon showed some fatigue in last Sunday's game against the Cubs, the right-hander's workload will be lessened, for the time being.

"That last outing he was somewhat relieved that he was taken out of the game," Manuel said. "We have kept him down for the most part his last three outings. Plus, he'll get an extra day (before his next start). Hopefully, he'll get back in the mode of where he can get us 122-130 pitches. He's not there right now.

"If you watch Bartolo and see the big wind up, he's expending energy. If he does that a lot in a game, then you have to back him up."
