I didn't have much time to pay attention to the Sox in the spring so that's why I'm getting into this season a bit late. I have watched the Sox for the last week, though (well, I've had to turn away quite often) and its as bad as advertised.
When Ozzie says that they suck, it's because they suck, it's not some motivational ploy. The Sox have lost 5 in a row and 11 of 13 and they're in a tailspin that going to take guts to get out of. Guts (as well as a bullpen - over 9 ERA last 26 days) is something that hasn't been on the Southside since 2005.
