Not to be a homer, but the White Sox continue to be money and the prices still don?t recognize that they are the best team in baseball. One of the thing that separates this team from the past White Sox teams is that they still go out and prove themselves even when there is nothing to prove. Plenty of times, this team had every reason to take a night off and it just doesn?t happen.

A?s are red-hot and have a lot to more on the line tonight, have a dominating recent history against the Sox in this park, and have the better of the pitching match-up. But the Sox can bury some demons and put aside (for the moment) some concern with Contreras. Garland?s a horse and is going on Saturday and that means that Ozzie can give Contreras a lot of support due to the fact that Garcia went the distance yesterday. Sox will be able to stay within striking distance for the first 6 and will have the advantage in the last 3.

Does seem like a pretty hefty + price for the team with best record in baseball .... as you mention though A's are 19-3 over last 22 vs White Sox in Oakland (according to ESPN crawl) .... good luck with Contreras!!

They went thru the explanation of what Ozzie did here on the post game show. Walker was 1st brought in for the lefty lefty matchup (worked for one out I think), and then I think the next hitter had a horrible average against lefties but Walker gave him a free pass.
